EXCURSION "A": SOUTH-EAST COAST AND SAN SALVADOR.

Magnificent panorama of almost the entire island.

A tour is made of the whole length of the blue coast. From Arenal and Cabo Blanco to Colonia de Sant Jordi, the route passes through Ses Salinas, reaches the fishing port of Porto Petro and goes on to Cala D'Or.

Then towards the Monastery of San Salvador (1,716m) where there is a statue of the Virgin Mary more than 600 years old and a 7m tall figure of Christ. The splendid view from there offers a panorama of practically the whole island.

The route continues through Felanitx, Porreras and Montuïri, passing by a glass factory and museum on the way. Return.



EXCURSION "B": FORMENTOR AND VISIT TO VILLAGES.

Sample a Majorcan liqueur in Pollensa.

Departure for Pina, Lloret and Sineu where a visit is paid to the agricultural market. After María de la Salut, the route goes from Sta. Margarita to Ca'n Picafort and from Alcudia, where are Roman remains, to Pollensa.

Next a visit to Formentor and Es Colomer, after this back to Pollensa where Majorcan liqueur can be sampled.

The return journey passes through La Puebla, Inca and Binisalem.



EXCURSION "C": EXCURSION TO LA CALOBRA AND SÓLLER.

Boat trip from La Calobra to Sóller.

A unique excursion offering marvellous landscapes. From Sta. María, Consell and Binisalem with their vineyards, the excursion continues through Inca, Selva and Caimari, the villages with castles, and then to Lluch to visit the monastery and listen to its choirboys.

On reaching La Calobra a boat can be hired to take an hour's sailing trip along the north-east coast to Puerto de Sóller.

The return journey from the port passes through Deyá and Valldemosa.



EXCURSION "D": PORTO CRISTO AND THE CAVES OF DRACH.

With a concert in the Caves of Drach.

An exceptional excursion along the island's east coast, visiting Montuïri's world famous pearl factory on the way.

Nearly to Porto Cristo are the Caves of Drach where a concert is staged on the lake inside.

After that comes Cala Millor, followed by Cala Ratjada and Cala Aguya. The return journey is via Artá and Manacor where there is a pottery.



EXCURSION "E": VISIT TO PALMA.

Half-day excursion.

A cultural tour of the old town centre of Palma where a visit to "La Seo", the Gothic cathedral dating from the 13th century, is a must.

Visit to the old quarter inside the city walls.

Visit to Pueblo Español, where the architectural styles of the whole of Spain are represented.

Visit to Bellver Castle, situated at Palma's highest point and with an exceptional view of the city and its port.



EXCURSION "F": SOUTH-EAST COAST + LA GRANJA.

One of the cultural excursions of Majorca.

This heads straight for Esporlas and the farming estate "La Granja" where a Majorcan folklore show is staged and there is an ethnological museum to visit.

Then the road leads to the sea and follows the coastline with visits to Banyalbufar and Estellencs. From there it goes on to "Es Grau" where we can enjoy the magnificent views.

Next on the itinerary is Puerto de Andratx, a combination of the traditional with the modern, a fishing port sheltering one of the most famous sailing clubs in the Mediterranean. Return.
